2. Design & Branding Terms and Conditions
2.1 General Information
Marsden Makes Co. provides professional design and branding services for businesses and individuals. By engaging in our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms exist to ensure clarity, professionalism and a smooth working relationship for both parties.
2.2 Project Process & Deliverables
Every design project begins with an initial consultation to discuss your goals, preferences and creative direction. Following this, initial design concepts are developed and refined through the agreed number of revision rounds. Once the final design is approved, you will receive high-quality files for both print and digital use. Any revisions requested beyond the agreed limit will incur an additional fee. If ongoing support or further file adaptations are needed, these can be quoted and arranged separately.
2.3 Turnaround Time
Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the project. Standard branding projects typically take between two and four weeks to complete. More extensive projects may require custom timelines which will be discussed before work begins. Delays in communication, approvals or client feedback may extend the timeline.
2.4 Pricing & Payment
All pricing is based on the agreed project scope and any additional services requested. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before any work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion and prior to the release of final files. Any extra work or revisions outside the initial agreement will be quoted separately. Payment confirms your commitment to the project and secures your design slot within our schedule.
2.5 Ownership & Usage Rights
Upon full payment, clients receive the rights to use the final approved design for their intended business or personal use. Marsden Makes Co. retains ownership of all preliminary concepts, unapproved drafts and creative assets. We reserve the right to showcase completed design work for our portfolio, social media and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing. Full copyright ownership may be purchased for an additional fee, which must be agreed upon in writing.
2.6 Cancellations & Refunds
You may cancel a project at any time; however, deposits are non-refundable. If work has already begun, additional fees may apply based on the amount of work completed. Refunds are not available once the final design has been approved or delivered. In the unlikely event that Marsden Makes Co. cannot complete a project, a partial refund may be provided based on the stage of completion.
2.7 Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing all necessary content, images, feedback and approvals in a timely manner to ensure projects remain on schedule. Delays in communication may result in extended deadlines. Marsden Makes Co. cannot be held responsible for errors in supplied text, images or final designs that have been approved by the client.
2.8 Revisions & Additional Work
Each project includes a set number of revisions as specified in your quote or package. Additional revisions beyond this limit will be charged separately, either at an hourly rate or per-revision rate. Major changes made after design approval may be treated as a new project and quoted accordingly.
2.9 Liability & Indemnity
Marsden Makes Co. is not liable for any damages, losses or legal issues arising from the use of the designs provided. Clients are responsible for ensuring their branding and materials comply with all applicable laws and industry regulations.
2.10 Agreement & Modifications
By engaging in Marsden Makes Co.’s services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Marsden Makes Co. reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
3. General Business Terms
3.1 Ordering Process
Orders for personalised gifts and items can be placed directly through our online shop. Orders for graphic design, branding or custom clothing can be made by contacting us at hello@marsdenmakesco.uk. Once your enquiry has been received, we will provide a detailed quote or proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, and costs.
3.2 Design Proofs
Before production begins, you will receive a digital proof for approval. It is your responsibility to check all spelling, punctuation and layout details carefully. Marsden Makes Co. will make every effort to identify issues, but final approval confirms that all details are correct. Colours on digital proofs may differ slightly from printed or physical versions due to screen and print variations.
3.3 Payment and Pricing
All payments must be made in full before production or delivery begins unless otherwise stated in writing. Prices are subject to change without notice. By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount due, including any applicable taxes or fees. All payments are processed securely.
3.4 Intellectual Property
All designs, images and content on the Marsden Makes Co. website remain the intellectual property of Marsden Makes Co. and may not be reproduced or used without express permission.
3.5 Liability
Marsden Makes Co. is not responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services. It is your responsibility to ensure that any materials you provide are free from copyright infringement.

Returns Policy:
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from Marsden Makes Co. However, please note the following policy regarding personalised gifts & design work.
Custom and personalised items, including printed designs and clothing, are non-returnable and non-refundable unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error made by Marsden Makes Co. Any issues must be reported within seven days of receiving your order. Design services are non-refundable once work has begun due to the time and creative effort invested.
